Busy Busy!
Late September/Early October is always the busiest time of year for photographing folks! I am so behind on editing! But I did want to pop onto the blog and share a couple of shots from Heather's recent Bridal Session-conducted just 5 days before her actual wedding AND we managed to choose one and get it blown up for display at the reception, even though I am not even done yet with editing all her pics! Here is the one we chose.
And a few of my other faves.

Introducing...Julianna
My dear friend in Arkansas had a baby in March, very premature, but she's been a little fighter and despite weighing less than 3 lbs. at birth, she's doing great! I finally got the chance to road-trip it over to see her! And of course, force the family into doing a photo shoot. Because that is how I roll! Here are a few of my faves.
Recent Family/Maternity Session
These are of the Green family. They wanted a few family shots before the new baby comes any day now! I photographed her when she was pregnant with her first child as well-the first maternity pics I ever did!
Cooper wanted to pet every dog that we saw at the park. What was so cute was that he would ask the owner, "Can I please pet your dog?" When they would say yes, he would then ask, "Where does he like to be petted best?" And pet the dog on the head, behind the ears, etc. depending on the response! I thought it was too cute-never heard anyone ask where the dog would want to be petted before!

Beware of Cat
So this is Lily Mae, my friend Barb's pretty kitty and they are both residing with me at the moment. I forgot how cats get into everything-exhibit A above, tissue paper that packaged an online order I received. As you can see, she is not going to let us take it away from her either.
I had a baby shower for my friend Sonya (belly shots in the post below) and Lily decided she wanted to taste test the cupcakes for us. She climbed all over the bakery's boxes and smooshed several cupcakes in the process....fortunately there was not TOO much damage and my little brother was quite glad to eat the smooshed ones since they could be included in the pretty display we set up.
And when Karin and I were assembling the favors, we had some leftover ribbon and I left the supplies on my kitchen table one night. The next morning, pieces of little blue stars and green gingham were strewn about the floor.
Thanks for the excitement Lily!
